With slightly larger flowers than other pot carnations, they are also slower growing, so they stay compact for longer and are smothered in fragrant blooms. Fully hardy in UK gardens and also suitable as a short-term houseplant, as their name suggests, they're perfect in a pot, where their well-branching growth gives an extended flowering period, and their heady summer scents will continue right up to the first frosts.
