A DWR (Durable Water Repellent ) finish also sheds mud and dirt and prevents water from soaking in. A drawcord hem lets you cinch in the hem to keep the elements out. And on particularly wet days, the helmet-compatible hood adds an extra level of protection. 2 zippered hand pockets are great to stash away valuables, keeping them safe but within easy reach.
