Foscarini Tress piccola fibreglass hanging light In addition to the fascinating look, apparent at first glance, the Tress hanging light displays the process of creation and the history behind it, considered to be the hallmark of this family of lights. In fact, Marc Sadler was inspired by the seductive look of a woven plait to design the Tress series. Fibreglass and synthetic resin serve as the starting materials for the realization of his design concept. A tape made of both materials is randomly woven by hand during the production process. This creates a body that in some areas is completely closed, whilst other areas are defined by openings giving it a braid-like effect. The hanging light is designed to provide direct and targeted lighting of a small area below the light. It is therefore ideal for use over a dining room or living room table, naturally integrated into a designer style. "Fare Luce" - this is the motto of the designer lighting manufacturer Foscarini, based in Venice. In the design and production process, Foscarini encourages the world of creation (fare) and the world of light (luce) to merge, creating extraordinary lighting objects.
