Unusual wall lamp Bit 1 with glass diffuserThe wall lamp Bit 1 consists of an unconventionally shaped glass diffuser and a wall mount, which, like the bulb holder, is made of painted metal. With its shape, it is reminiscent of an auricle. The wall lamp is switched on and off via a switch integrated in the plug cable. The transparent cable also blends unobtrusively into the overall structure. The design model for the Bit wall lamp collection was the sculptural floor lamp Orbital by Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani. It has five differently shaped diffusers, which are found here individually as a wall lamp. Each version has its own individual, irregular shape and can be used wonderfully as a single light source or in combination with other lights in the series. The outside of the diffusers is matted, so that the colors appear more delicate and the shapes come into their own. The inside was designed glossy, so that the light is well reflected.Designer Ferruccio Laviani works as an architect and designer and is designed, among other things, showrooms, events and exhibitions around the world. His special feature is his contemporary style with high recognition value. in 1992, he made his debut as a designer in the lighting industry with Orbital.
