Foscarini Aplomb R7s wall light
Description
Indirect room lighting - Foscarini wall lamp Aplomb The cone-shaped wall lamp Aplomb is made of concrete and is cast in liquid form from a special mixture mixed with color pigments. The otherwise gray nature of concrete is here cleverly reinterpreted with colors and thus also creates the leap from the world of construction, in which the material otherwise finds its application, to its use as a decorative luminaire. Since the material would otherwise completely shield the light, the shape of the wall lamp Aplomb is worked so that there is a very wide opening to the top and a narrower one to the bottom. The top provides a sufficiently bright light, which is reflected from the wall as well as from the ceiling. The light from the narrow opening to the bottom creates a refined cone of light, which provides a decorative effect. The design of the impressive lamp series Aplomb comes from the Milanese designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, who have developed several lamp collections for the manufacturer Foscarini. The Aplomb model here cleverly combines elements of architecture and design.
