Foscarini Aplomb Mini - Pendant lamp with extraordinary surface The luminaire was born out of the desire to work with the material concrete. The Milanese designer duo Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere developed during their collaboration with the Venetian luminaire manufacturer Foscarini a series of luminaires that appears elegant and raw at the same time. Elements of architecture and design are cleverly combined here to create the small pendant luminaire Aplomb, which impresses with its characteristic shape of an inverted funnel. Concrete, a material frequently used in modern architecture, is the basis for the shade. The extraordinary surface of the Aplomb is created thanks to a special cement mixture, which is poured by hand into a particularly thin mould in a liquid state. Special colour pigments give the basic material a new and exciting interpretation. The pendant lamp Aplomb mini shines directly and thanks to the elegant concrete shade, it shines down in a targeted and glare-free manner. This makes the luminaire perfect for lighting kitchen tables, bar counters or counters, whether individually, in groups or in combination with the slightly larger version of the Aplomb series.
