Piero Fornasetti was a Milanese painter, sculptor, interior decorator, engraver and creator. His designs are delicately reproduced on a series of everyday objects such as plates and umbrella stands, and since his passing, Fornasetti's son, Barnaba, has continued the family tradition. The recent addition of home fragrances to the Fornasetti world has realised Piero and Barnaba's dream of bringing their art into the world of fragrances. This Silenzio Scented Candle makes use of Mediterranean herbs that were found in and around the family home and woods often utilised in interiors designs. Design number 334 from Tema e Variazioni, this variation was created by Barnaba in the year 2000 and is an archetypal classic female feature and enigmatic expression of Lina Cavalieri.
