For our carpets, we have a yarn with a high New Zealand wool content created under strict supervision. This yarn gives the natural carpet pile stability and an elegant sheen. The yarn is machine woven using the latest technology to create a wool carpet with the look, feel and durability of a hand-knotted carpet with up to 180,000 knots. A special weaving process gives the carpet pile a unique play of colours. Finely coordinated mottling and colour blends create the look of antique oriental carpets. Traditional oriental designs from Persia or elaborate Aubusson designs from France and China are the origin of our timeless and elegant patterns. Fine lines, motifs from traditional nomadic carpets and also beautiful flowers can be found in our pure new wool carpets.
