A hybrid style for this steel table whose top is inlaid with a superb mosaic of clay tiles, a material with a warm, natural texture. These tiles are hand-crafted in Italy using centuries-old manufacturing techniques, using the finest Po clay. Very hard-wearing, they’re not afraid of water: Flod Tiles tables can be used both indoors and out. The tiles are simply laid in the steel frame without joints (they’re not sealed): this allows rainwater to flow through the perforated frame. The clay is slightly rough and coarse, with colour variations: these characteristics deliver an authentic, natural aesthetic. Imperfect shapes and irregular workmanship showcase its craftsmanship and hand-made nature. The raw appearance of the material contrasts with the modern style of the sleek black steel structure.
