The Ortho Pocket mattress is designed to offer a firm, yet comfortable support by combining body contouring pocket springs, topped off with a deep pillow top. A traditional hand tufted finish is applied to the mattress by passing nylon tapes through it at regular intervals to ensure its deep fillings are held securely in place. Situated below layers of white fibre fillings is a traditional sleep system made up of small diameter pocket springs with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve. The springs move freely so the load on one spring is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. Totally independent, the springs are not affected by varying weights and body shapes, resulting in a system that supports directly at the point of contact. Designed to be one-side, the Ortho Pocket mattress does not need to be flipped over, but regular rotation will enhance it comfort, support and lifespan.
