He dominated the carpet trade in the late 19th and early 20th century with his trading company, which was based in England. Original Ziegler rugs are now sold for large sums of money in auction houses around the world. This modern version of the famous design is made from cotton chenille and features a ribbed surface with a shimmering effect. The rug was produced in Europe to a high standard, ensuring the best workmanship.
