The Aliante is one Fizik's three Spine Concept™ Mens Road Saddle shapes, and of these three, it is the widest and most longitudinally waved, perfect for those with lower levels of flexibility.The Aliante R3 offers a composite carbon shell with a co-injected nylon Twin Flex™ ‘sweet spot’ at the centre, which when combined with a kium rail and all-new sleek profile, allows the saddle to boast unprecedented comfort and low weight.Aliante R3 is for The Bull - Rigid Spine. If you have a relatively low degree of spinal flexibility, you are a Bull. To clarify, this is if you have more than 90 degrees between your straight legs and back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders’ width apart. Your degree of spinal flexibility will top out quite quickly when attempting to adopt the performance position, and for this reason you will rotate your pelvis fully. You will benefit from the increased curvature (support) of the Aliante shape.
