Our stunning Claudette Fans are named after Claudette Colbert, a well-known Art Deco era actress. These beautiful fans remind us of Cleopatra's headdress in Cecil B. DeMille's 1934 film, in which Claudette played Cleopatra. These earrings are real head turners. Antiqued raw brass expertly embellished with many layers of hand-poured coloured enamel. The look is finished off with a contemporary 16ct gold plated clasp bar. Earring pins are stainless steel, butterfly backs are 16ct gold plated brass. Pair with FiorSó's Claudette Fan Necklaces. Designed and made in Ireland. Very lightweight. Every piece has been hand-coated with a professional jewellers wax to slow tarnishing. However as with all metals, tarnishing will occur. A quick buff with the soft cleaning cloth provided will remove tarnishing. To best protect these pieces, keep them away from all moisture including lotions, perfumes, and oils, and handle them with clean, dry hands. Keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Remove before bathing or swimming.
