Exhibited in the most prestigious museums (the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, etc.), Carole Baijings' work stands out through an extremely balanced use of colours and interplays of graphical lines. Coming straight from a watercolour palette, the Original Slim Pop bean bags sport a blend of joyous intensity, remarkable restraint, poetry and geometry. Carole Baijings developed a unique range of colours for the Original Slim Pop bean bag collection which includes 6 models (3 different styles). When you look at the bean bag's colours from different angles, they are perceived differently. A master illusionist, this bean bag clearly sports a playfulness. Carole Baijings on the use of colours in her work: Unlike the rules of language in which every combination of words into a sentence tells a story in the end, colour does not have any grammar. All kinds of things have been written on the theory of colours and the way in which they relate to each other and feed into each other. Only music serves as a model for us. Music, which through its ability to create combinations, transgresses all kinds of laws and rules and frees itself as a work of genius. Like a score, I formulate my own colour grammar, while not forgetting to constantly shake up all the conventions, so that materials and colours help one another and produce a harmonious ensemble. The Original Slim bean bag is as comfortable as the Original, while taking up less space (155 x 120 cm). It can therefore be placed more easily in smaller spaces.
