Wevet is good old traditional Dorset dialect for a spiders web which is the perfect name as it really does have a translucent, gossamer feel to it, like a web. It has the same level of colour as Wimborne White but is much more contemporary in feel, with its cool starched base. Wevet can be used as a wall colour for a neutral contemporary space or on ceilings or woodwork when combined with cooler greys. White & Light Tones Undercoat.. This Wevet no.273 silk sheen estate eggshell paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 2 coats with a brush, roller or spray and leave for 2 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 9m² per 750ml on average.
