The source of my inspirations is Mother nature - its magical beauty, harmony, strength & power. Ceramics is about tactility, beauty, & subjectivity. My goal in my ceramic sculpture is to call upon a past experience or emotion. This organic nature inspired form reminds me of a volcanic lava. The bowls inside & outside surfaces retain the elegant quality of nature's work, because it does not attempt to be an exact replica. The bowl is thrown on the wheel. The inside has multiple layered glazes that created small sparkling crystals.. The vessel is high fired in electric kiln. Dimensions: 7 in diameter x 4 tall. All of my work is done in my home studio located in beautiful Southern California. Each ceramic vessel is an original piece of artwork. It is signed by me. It takes approximately a month from start to finish for one ceramic piece I highly appreciate your business . With your purchase, you support an artist who is lucky enough to be doing what I love.
