Description: A striking antique glass china / display cabinet standing on cabriole legs with two glass shelves a single glazed door. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned & is in very good order with the original lock & key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored & hand painted externally in Farrow & Ball's strong dark coal tar 'Pitch Black' Modern Eggshell & internally the back & base have been lined with a stunning deep red velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet. Condition: This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents & previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage & antique pieces & adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces & call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration & preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed & undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.
