Description
We Start with Kevlar Reinforced Concrete, then we dip the sculpture in electrically conductive Graphite paint, then the sculpture is off to the tanks to grow copper using Electroforming. The effect is pretty close to a bronze sculpture, but in a deeper copper finish. The copper growth process takes about a week minimum, & every piece is unique. A very unique & entirely hand made piece. We tend to finish the piece in a Satin, If you prefer a more Matte finish, just let us know when you purchase! Note These are optically interesting pieces, depending on the amount of light around them, they can go from almost black/dark bronze to bright & shimmery with high contrast. in general they are darker than in the photographs.
