Description
Beautiful hand-made bowl. This bowl was turned from a block of wood that was formed by gluing pieces of ash, mahogany, walnut & poplar wood together. The top of the bowl is ash, & the bottom is mahogany. The checker-board was made from walnut & poplar wood. After turning it to shape, it was sanded to a smooth finish & then a durable wax emulsion finish was applied. This is a very strong finish that will stand up to years of use. The bowl's diameter at the rim is 8. It stands 4 in height. This bowl would make a lovely, original gift. The bowl can stand alone for its' beauty, or you could use it hold fruits, nuts, salads, chips, etc. Decorative Bowl
