Woodburning or Pyrography is the technique of making art with heated metal tips in this case on Baltic Birch board. I used a hand held wood burner, the Walnut Hallow Versa-tool to burn this on Baltic Birch. It took about 28 hours. The art piece measurement is 18 x 14, autographed as well. Based on a photograph I took at the Austin Capital building, Austin, Texas. There are four porches on the capital building & each porch has two of these Corinthian style columns. Their tops are made of white marble which contrasts nicely with the pink granite of the building. The frame is made from a recycled, antique dark brown frame..
