A silver plated bowl on a pedestal produced by the Sheridan co' of Taunton Massachusetts USA. The style of the name stamp was one that was used between 1946 & 1973. The bowl has a diameter of 15cm & stands 8.5cm tall. There are no dents to the bowl, there is what appears to be a small split in the metal. The area around it isn't distorted, so it's a mystery why that has happened. There is no wear to the silver plate on the exterior of the bowl. There is some wear to the interior as it seems to be that it has been used as a planter or has contained water as there is a ring around part of it that someone has rubbed hard to remove. I think the best use now would be as a trinket bowl, a planter, a bowl for pot pourri, coin dish etc. Thank you for looking Sheridan Silver Plated Pedestal Bowl, Footed Pot Pourri Bowl
