I was in Norway for 10 winter days in 2023, based in the Lofoten Islands for a photography workshop. For the first few nights, we were worried we'd never get to see the Northern Lights because the weather was not cooperative. But for the rest of the trip, we had brilliant displays & it was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. I was especially delighted when the Aurora Borealis would dance over the snowy mountains, & I love this photograph because that is exactly what you see. You have a variety of options when it comes to choosing your print (though not all options are available for every print). More details on printing are below. The average estimated delivery time for printing, assembling, packing, & shipping all prints is 10 days (but please note that metal & acrylic prints generally take a bit longer to make than the others). 1) Premium Paper Prints, Unframed This is a professional, high-quality piece of art, printed on luster, satin, or similar fine art paper. I love these papers because they render beautiful bright colors but are less susceptible to fingerprints & glare from light than other (more glossy) papers. My photo prints are typically available in 8x10, 11x14 inches, 16x20, & 20x30 inches, and/or I may offer different sizes (ex. panoramas) depending on the way a photo will display best. These prints are designed to be placed in a frame with or without a mat, both of which will need to be purchased separately. 2) Premium Paper Prints, Framed This is a great option if you don't want to fuss with framing the print yourself, & want to be able to hang your artwork right out of the box. Frame sizes available are 11x14, 16x20, 20x30, & 24x36. Please be sure to note that this means that the print size is 8x10, 12x16, 16x26, or 20x32, & there is a white mat around the print. You may choose a sleek classic black wood frame or a natural brown barnwood frame. Both display beautifully & will be an incredible addition to your wall. 3) Canvas Prints, Unframed or Framed Canvas prints do not require any assembly: they come out of the shipping box finished & ready to hang with a simple nail or two in the wall. I offer canvas triptychs when I know this will work well for a particular photo; this is a modern, stunning, & relatively economical way, to cover larger wall spaces. For some prints, you may also choose framed canvas if you'd like a more polished look: these frames are typically available in black (and sometimes brown, when noted), with a floating effect that allows the canvas to stand out. 4) Aluminum Metal Prints Metal prints make for elegant wall decor with beautiful color & shine.
