I first saw a photo of Reine Norway in the Lofoten Islands in January of 2021. It didn't seem like it could be a real place & I knew I wanted to see it myself someday. But first I needed to learn the ins & outs of landscape photography. For two years I worked & worked on my photography & during that time I also booked myself a journey to Norway as part of a photography workshop. I traveled 40 hours & found Norway to be everything I dreamed it would be. & this scene was indeed a real place & it was just as magical as I imagined... This shot was taken from Hamnoy Bridge in the Reine municipality of the Lofoten Islands, Norway. Hamnoy is the oldest fishing village in the area. The red huts - known as Rorbuer - were once housing for cod fishermen...nowadays they serve as guest houses. We stayed at similar ones on my trip. The beautiful mountain that stands out is named Mt.
