He was known for his simple forms & vibrant colors. This lithograph was created for the 32nd International Paris Air show in 1977. This poster has some slight wear as you can see in the photos & would be better framed but it is a rare & interesting 1970s graphic design piece. Bernard Villemot, born in France in 1911, was a French graphic artist who designed & produced advertising campaigns for some of the biggest companies such as Bally Shoe, Orangina, Air France & Perrier. Villemot distinctive style included bold colour, elegant figures & simple forms. Villemot is considered to be one of the most distinguished poster artists of his time. His work featured in French magazines of the time, as well as street advertising.
