Wild Blossoms Vintage 1930's Floral Cotton Sun Parasol This beautiful 1930's sun parasol, is the perfect piece to keep shaded with. Her long stemmed bamboo handle boasts a simple slide clasp to open the parasol. The wonderful cotton parasol, boasts a Chinoiserie pattern of wild blooms, amongst trailing flowers & foliage. Finished with a black varnished paper tip, every detail of this piece showcases the design & craftsmanship of the era. Label:none Measurements: Circumference of Parasol : 95 Inches Length From base of handle to tip : 24 inches Material: wood, bamboo, bamboo staves, cotton, paper. Condition: in beautiful Vintage condition. This parasol has been well used & accordingly has some areas of discolouration to the cotton fabric from natural sun bleaching. These are predominant along the top of the staves. Some very light age marks. Natural age related wear along the top paper tip. This issues are not overly apparent when the parasol is being used, & do not detract from he quality or natural beauty of this piece.
