A set of two nesting black bear bowls under celestial skies with moons & stars, this rustic mixing bowl set is loaded with details & are a special addition to our native California series that celebrates our local mountains, wildlife & seashores. Handmade from a hearty stoneware, the larger bowl is approx. 6 wide x 3 1/4 tall & holds 3 1/2 cups. The smaller bowl measures approx. 5 1/2 tall x 2 3/4 tall & holds 2 1/2 cups. Each bowl has multiple bear with crescent moons & stars surrounding the exteriors. The interior features a black bear with a star. These bowls are great for mixing, serving or for a beautiful display. -Created from white sandy Northern California clay, wheel thrown, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning! -Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability & ease of use & cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed & feature our maker's mark. -Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted & no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques & shapes.
