A simply stunning double bank of haberdashery drawers in beautifully aged oak. They date to around the 1930's to early 1940's & were supplied by a quality shop fitters - E Pollard & Co. Clerkenwell, London, EC1. They were supplied to a shop/ customer in Taunton, Somerset, according to the original label still stuck on the rear of the drawers. The drawers are all made of solid oak with quality carpentry, including dovetail joints to all fronts & sides. All handles are original & present, along with all of the drawer front label holders. It is incredibly rare to find such a piece in this outstanding original condition. The sides & back of the drawers are original pine tongue & groove board. The drawers split in to two sections for ease of transportation & siting in the room of your choice. All of the drawers run freely & easily. An incredible piece of genuine antique statement furniture.
