A lovely square mirror with a fused glass frame. I handcut the glass & use powdered glass for the base colours, my mirrors are always a scene, this being fields & spring meadows. Daffodils & blossom on the trees in a gorgeous array of yellows & greens. Once I'm happy with the first stage of the frame it goes into the kiln. I then add all the detailing like the daffodils, leaves etc & then it enters the kiln a second time. This time at a cooler temperature so that the details stay in relief giving a lovely textured effect. I then silicone the frame to the glass which is super strong. These mirrors are functional glass art, I change my mirrors with season Fused Glass Spring Mirror, Daffodil Mirror With Blossom, Art in Depicting A Scene, Landscape Design
