This small, curvy, one of a kind mug is embossed with small plant fronds after the wheel thrown form has dried for a few hours. Approximately 3.5 tall with an 8 ounce capacity the handle includes an imprint where the thumb goes for a nice grip. The outer walls are textural. Functional. Microwaveable. Dishwasher safe. This is my Eco Green shino glaze. On the near-black, iron-rich clay, it results in a soft light green base with lots of the brown clay specs coming through. Reminiscent of spring forest leaves. Newly grown moss. After-rain tree bark lichen. Perfect for the environmentally-inspired, sustainability-conscious, tree-hugger in all of us. The inside is glazed with a deep blue for contrast.
