Ercol Windsor Drop Leaf Dining Table | Restored Beech & Elm | 384 Ercol are an iconic British furniture company started by Lucian Ercolani, an Italian immigrant & Cabinet Maker in the 1930's. They are known for their elegant sleek designs & use of quality conditioned timbers such as Beech, Ash & Elm. Some of their designs from their heyday in the 1960's & 70's are today highly sought after & collectable. The company have produced many of the iconic pieces of retro mid Century furniture & are still family-operated today. This is the highly sought after 384 Oval Drop Leaf Dining table from Ercol's Windsor range. The oval shaped table top has a metal drop leaf mechanism on either side of its underside to enable the table to change size when needed. Produced since 1957, the table seats 2 when closed & 6 when fully open. The table top is made from Elm, with the underframe & legs made from Beech. This is a great piece of furniture, really versatile in smaller spaces. The Table is in Very Good/Excellent condition. The wood has been sanded to remove any marks & scratches. Refinished then sealed with Osmo 3032 clear satin liquid wax. There are next to no marks, scratches or signs of use to the piece.
