Vintage Mid Century Etruscan Style Organic Form Klinker Pitcher Vase 1950s This is a stunning West German Pottery Studio vase attributed to Klinker. It depicts ancient Etruscan form & style & translates it with geometric pattern lines of the mid century era. The vase has unusual proportions, tall & slim vs. round body & minimalist handle. The pitcher is hand made with carvings (sgraffito) to the unglazed red clay. The abstract pattern is hand etched & painted black. The mark includes the form number 154 / 30. Rare & one of a piece unique mid century item in very good vintage condition. No damage or chips, there are two tiny white dots on the black pattern.
