I am selling this truly versatile piece of furniture which will add a touch of character to any room in your home. This stunning Trunk is one of the largest length had come a cross (100 cm) it has huge storage compartments for your Wine, Books, Blanket, DVDS, or whatever you find is suitable for you. The exterior of this military box has been stripped, sanded, treated & waxed with rustic pine to enhance the beauty of the wood grain knots. & patina, it has a beautiful rustic chunky wood runner, it stands on 4 round tree branch that has been dried naturally & treated, I have kept the original green military on the side with the heavy duty military handles, sorry no drop down hinges, & original handles. With Old vintage cast iron plague (Andrew Barclay Sons & Co ). The interior has been cleaned with hard sanding then applied French oil to protect it, then waxed with stripped pine to keep it clean & tidy ready for your use, DIMENSIONS L - 95-100cm, W - 35-41 cm, H - 35-41 cm all measurements are approximate . Please use the zoom facility as photos is form of my description. This is a heavy trunk around 30 Kg, please handle with care. This is an old vintage army chest showing signs of cosmetic wear from army usage & age. Cosmetic wear will include dents& bumps, marks, peeling, wrinkling, knocks, marks, stain, fading, missing pieces, discoloration, tears, surface corrosion, old fixing, expose fixing, shrinkage gaps, paint remnants, sharp edges, & small repairs, split wood, screw heads.
