A gorgeous & useful set of traditional vintage 6 cork backed table mats or Placemats featuring Vintage Photographs of Liverpool, particularly boats & Places of Interest around the Liverpool Pier Head & Albert Docks. On the back of each mat it says Produced by Photo Royal Liverpool Pier Head & Docks. On the side of the box it says Produced by Photo Royal Liverpool Pier Head & Albert Docks. The original box has a touching presentation message on it & clearly this set of mats was a gift to a Professor for his work in the Department of Medical Illustrations. The mats are backed with heat resistant cork. The table mats are wipe clean & covered with protective acrylic material. Each of the 6 Liverpool Pier Head & Docks.table mats measures 24 x 19 cm (9 3/8 x 7 1/2 in). The box is 24.5 x 19.5 x 2.5 cm (9 3/4 x 7 x 1 in). The set if heavy & weighs 990 g (2 lb 3 oz). The Liverpool Pier Head & Albert Docks table mats is in excellent vintage condition. The mats appear to be unused. The box is also in excellent condition with some mild scuffing on the corners.
