A beautiful Vintage Silver Plate Repouss Berry Serving 8 inch Spoon with a decorative cameo handle. The serving spoon is decorated with embossed bunch of grapes, flowers, foliage & fruit including what appears to be a pears & peaches. The handle is equally ornate with entwined foliage & a cameo which could be engraved with initials. Blank at present. The attractive decorative Repouss design has been hammered out of the metal & is most probably made by Sheffield craftsmen. No one else will have one of these. It is a gorgeous unique item Clearly marked on the handle with EPNS. The Repouss spoon is 20.5 cm (8 in) long. The Spoon Bowl to the ridge where it is attached to the handle is 9 cm (3 5/8 in) long & 5 cm (2 in) wide at its widest. The Spoon bowl is 1.5 cm (1/2 in) deep at its deepest. The spoon weighs 50 g (1.8 oz). The Repouss spoon is in excellent vintage condition with no dents or rust. There may be wear consistent with normal use as this is a pre loved item. It has been well looked after. Could do with a clean as most vintage silver. Please view photos for condition. A very attractive & unusual decorative ornate serving Berry Spoon .
