A wonderful pair of Victorian Antique Silver Plate Serving Ladle Spoons. These beautiful antique ladle spoons are reminiscent of an elegant bygone age where people liked to use cleverly designed cutlery for different purposes. The larger of the silver ladle Victorian serving spoon is marked with EP No A1 with two stars. It is in good vintage condition with no dents. There are some areas of wear to the back of the bowl where the base nickel silver - a brass tone - is showing through. Also some light scuffs & scratches as expected. all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. Measures 19.5 cm (7 in) long. The difference in height between the tip of the handle & the bottom of the spoon bowl is 16 cm (6 3/4 in). The spoon bowl is 6.5 x 5.5 cm (2 x 2 in) & 2 cm (3/4 in) deep. Weighs 75 g (2.6 oz). The smaller of the antique silver ladle serving spoon has a more curved handle & RYAL 8, EPNS, Made in England. The Ryals name refers to James Ryals, a silver cutlery producer operating in Sheffield, England. Measures 15 cm (5 1/2 in) long. The difference in height between the tip of the handle & the bottom of the spoon bowl is 10.5 cm (5 3/8 in). The spoon bowl is 4.5 x 5.5 cm (1 3/4 x 2 1/8 in) & 1.25 cm (1/2 in) deep. Weighs 45 g (1.6 oz). The Victorian antique ladle spoons are good vintage condition with no dents. There is some areas of age related wear with light scuffs & scratches as expected. Pre loved items.
