Description
This is a handsome little antique table top cabinet or cupboard which dates to the late 1800s. Made of mahogany it is fairly heavy & solid despite its small size & could be used as a small bedside table or for display purposes in a kitchen. The cupboard would have once been part of a shop display advertising the Birds Custard brand, it has an evocative Victorian look & is an unusual & rare piece. The cupboard has a single sign written door to the front which opens to reveal a single fixed shelf. The door is fitted with an old bakelite knob. The wood has a very well aged finish. CONDITION The cabinet has many marks of age & use, it has seen an active life & is very aged looking & full of character.
