Description
These iconic Cesca chairs with armrests were designed by Marcel Breuer in 1929 for Thonet, model name S64. They were produced in 1990s Italy (imprinted on the bottom). The seating, armrests & backrest are light brown-trimmed beech wood, with a cane net insert on the seat & backrest. The cane net is still the original. The frame is chromed tubular steel. This version of the Cesca chair has the frame angled inwards at the bottom, making for an interesting visual detail. These vintage chairs are a great choice, whether used as a dining, office or desk chair. There are 2 chairs in stock at this time, the price is for ONE (1) chair! DIMENSIONS (cca) Height max: 85 cm Depth: 50 cm Width max: 60 cm Seat height: 47.5 cm Seat width x depth: 46.5 cm x 43 cm Both chairs are in similar, VERY GOOD VINTAGE STATE with minor signs of age & use to the wood, metal & cane net. Mainly there are some scratches on the metal (see photos for example), one darker mark on the edge of one seat.
