You are purchasing a Vintage Planter Posy Vase Horse Pony N0. 110 Vintage England Hornsea Fauna Royal Made in England Ceramic Collectable Earthenware Planter. Hornsea Pottery was founded in 1949 by brothers Colin Rawson & Desmond Rawson with funding from a local business man, Philip Clappison. The factory was well known for its traditional character jugs & 'Fauna' posy vases with attached animal figures. Designers such as as Marion Campbell, John Clappison, Alan Luckham, Martin Hunt & Robin Pavitt were all credited for designing some of the most modern (at the time) ceramic arts. This particular vase depicts a horse at a water trough No 110.. The stamp identifies this model was made circa 1950's. Ideal use would be a plant pot on the windowsill. Measurements: The planter is 5 inches in length. The small kitsch planter would make the perfect windowsill accompaniment. [Shipping] This item will shipped with a tracking number.
