Rare Danish stilnovo chandelier made in black painted metal, solid brass & lovely teak details. The chandelier has 5 arms & each has a very decorative black & white glass shade to cover for the bulb. The chandelier is made during the 1950's by the Danish company Voss Belysning - a company which now a days is known for their production of stoves & ovens. Voss belysning did stop the production of lamps back in the 1960's & it's very hard to find their lamps today - especially those with glass shades as unfortunately they are accidentally broken over time. There are so many lovely detail on this chandelier - the beautiful shades with a very special shape, teak on the center rod, tapered teak ends on the each arm & matching brass canopy. The chandelier can be used as an elegant statement for your home where is will look very beautiful in a hall, over a dinner table or as ordinary room light. The manufacturer label from Voss Belysning is still represented on the chandelier. The condition is good with only small signs of the past 70 years of use. All 5 glass shades are intact, but might have small imperfections. Size: Diameter: 55 cm / 21,6 inch Height: 67 cm / 26,4 inch It takes 5 x E14 bulbs max 25 watt & all the wiring has been replaced.
