Pearsons of Chesterfields handy storage stoneware utensils jar. Pearsons potteries were established c. 1810 who were successful for many , many, years. During the 1970s/80s Pearsons brought back it's Victorian pottery line copied from their orginal factory molds. Oven to freezer proof & microwave proof as well as dishwasher proof. A good all round retro/vintage container. Great vintage condition. Would not look out of place in a country cottage, farmhouse kitchen or artists studio. This item could be used to hold artists brushes, knitting needles, pens & pencils or for that which it was intended - kitchen utensils. Size 5.8 tall x 4 top opening x 13 circum.
