The pillowcase is made from high quality, 100% cotton fabric & has a wide, sturdy hem. It is in excellent condition. I have freshly laundered it & do not detect any stains, odors or tears other than one little mark near the top edge (see last photo). For vintage linens I recommend hand washing & line drying.
