Vintage Christmas Mugs, Holly & Ribbon Garland Mugs/Cups, Clear Glass, Rich Gold Trim on Rim, Hot or Cold Drink Mugs, Made in U.S.A by Libbey, Circa 1980s, Pattern Discontinued. These Christmas Holly & Ribbon mugs are 3-3/4 Tall with a base diameter of 3 5/8. The glass is a brilliant clear & the Holly-Berry design around the base is in mint condition. Further, the rich gold trim around the rim of the mug is also in mint condition. To maintain rich gold trim, do not wash in a dishwasher. Each mug is marked Made in USA on its bottom & it has a substantial handle; further, the glass is rather thick, each mug weighs 1 pound. These holiday cups are larger than a standard Mug. Great for serving coffee, tea, coco, eggnog, wassail & etc. Provided with purchase at Long John Silver's in 1980s. Great purchase to add to a set or begin a set, sold as a set of 12 or individually.
