Antique French caf au lait bowl earthenware transfer decor in pink with birds, flowers & butterfly, French caf au lait bowls. MEASURES: Diameter is 5 3/4 (14.7 cm) wide, 3 1/2 (8.8 cm) tall. DESCRIPTION: Very rare & lovely antique French caf au lait bowl, earthenware with pink transfer decoration, Terre de Fer, featuring birds, blossoming branches & small butterflies. The base is milk white color, transfer decoration is in tones of red & pink. This antique caf au lait bowl is not signed, dating to early 1900's. HOW TO USE IT: A wonderful addition to your collection of antique French caf au lait bowls, this charming antique bowl would surely be an outstanding piece & would enhance your collection! I love the antique French bowls, they have so many different patterns & age give them so amazing tea stained effects! I am never tired to search them, I enjoy so much to play with them & mix the different patterns matching their colors.... CONDITIONS: This antique bowl has a great antique patina, there is an old rupture on the interior side of the edge & a granular incrustation of yellowish material on the exterior edge, visible in my photos. Interior of the bowl is slightly stained & shows signs of use & age. This lovely antique bowl has all the charme of antique earthenware!
