Welcome to our Etsy Shop! At Verse of the Day Coffee we help you start the day with a few good words over a cup of something cozy. I'm experimenting with some choices in fonts, as per my little girl's request. She thinks I need a more contemporary flair. If you have a mug you like in the brush script but prefer this bolder font, just message me & I'll make the change to Tan Nimbus. I chose it for its '70s vibe & because nimbus means radiant light or glory, a luminous vapor... Our 11 oz. handcrafted minimalist kitchen coffee mugs can be custom requested & personalized. Every morning, I slip a piece of typing paper with a handwritten verse under my daughter's door. I hope to fill her mind with the truth of who she is before there is opportunity for anything else to creep in. Doing this taught me I need the same, some visual to bring words of truth into my everyday life. I don't need it to have flowers or frills, no beauty beyond the letters. But I do need it to be bold & obviouslike Sharpie on a Post-it, but for forever. & at teatime, memory is a fine game. I learn what lasts for her & why.
