The Old Growth lumber we use comes from century old reclaimed beams, floor joists & roof boards that have been deconstructed in the mid-west, typically in the Chicago area. All of our lumber is KILN DRIED in a dry heat kiln which stabilizes the lumber to reduce movement & ensures there is nothing left living inside. You won't find many on Etsy who can offer this!
