Welcome to UpStaged Vintage This listing includes FREE shipping from France This is a full complete roll of gorgeous unused vintage 1970s/80s wallpaper. in a subtle pale green & pale peach orange tones with a textured embossed stripe. I've seen lots of similar papers on the walls of French houses, but to find it unused & wrapped in cellophane is extremely rare. This roll was sealed in its original polythene wrapping, which I only removed in order to photograph & show you this stunning pattern. Perfect for anyone renovating a time capsule property or creating a mid-century room. Perhaps this is what you need for a film, tv or theatrical production. Branded Montecolino. The paper is of a thicker quality than you usually find in modern wallpaper. It will have been printed on a ancient heliographic printing machine with different rollers for each colour. in VERY GOOD condition, with just a bit of a dent in the roll, the first couple of feet (25 cm or so) may have to be wasted but I'm pretty sure, once pasted, the dent won't show on the wall at all. It has been sealed during all these years in storage & is therefore complete. Please note, as mentioned above, it did come out of the wrapping for the photographs. Please see all photos & remember it is around 50 years old. This is the only roll I have of this design so there will only be enough for a small feature wall or to use on furniture or other craft projects. There are companies now who will reproduce old wallpapers so if you really love it you can always have it re-made in as greater quantity as you need. It is marked on the label with standard wallpaper measurements: 10.05 m x 53 cm (11 yards x 20 inches). I find you get approx. 4 full drops from each roll of paper, depending on the height of your wall of course & the length of the matching design. Though because this is a stripe I don't think you will loose anything really in matching.
