Handwoven twined rag rug. Several shades of pink, from a pale blush to hot pink, along with a very pale peach & touches of red, green, blue & yellow from a floral fabric woven in. This item is tightly woven, soft, thick & durable enough to last for years. Perfect for any room in your home from the front door to the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. Rug is reversible though, due to the weaving process, one side will be slightly prettier than the other as I tend to hide the nubs from joining the strips of fabric together on the opposite side. Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Due to size & weight of the rug, you may prefer to hand wash. Created in a pet free, smoke free environment. I love textiles & combining color with texture. Gathering gently used fabric from a variety of sources (Goodwill, other charity shops, friends) I carefully sort, clean & prep the material for weaving. Each rug contains approximately 15-17 yards of fabric & many hours of work. Upcycling this material into a beautiful, unique item gives me joy & I hope to share the results with you.
