Handmade twined rag rug. Several shades of tan, sand, beige, off-white, buff & wheat are complimented by stripes in chartreuse & the odd fleck of black, blue & gold. Sounds colorful with all that lime green but, as you can see, the overall look is surprisingly neutral with a clean, contemporary look that will dress up any room. This item is tightly woven, soft, thick & durable enough to last for several years. Rug is reversible, though, due to the weaving process, one side will be slightly prettier than the other as I tend to hide knots on the opposite side. Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Due to size & weight of rug, you may prefer to hand wash. Created in a pet free, smoke free environment. I love textiles & combining color with texture. Gathering gently used fabric from a variety of sources (Goodwill, other charity shops, friends) I carefully sort, clean & prep the material for weaving. Each rug contains approximately 15-17 yards of fabric & many hours of work. Upcycling this material into a beautiful, unique item gives me joy & I hope to share the results with you.
