A superb pair of antique plates, made in Germany c1820-1840, & by 'Rauenstien' & made from fine quality porcelain Finley hand painted in an underglaze cobalt blue & has tight flutes internally with a smooth rim & center, the pattern is called straw flower & resembles blue onion pattern by Meissen, there both roughly 200 years old & the condition is amazing & shows the quality & strength of the porcelain, both pieces are large, like charger plates at just over 29cm wide or 11.5 across & will still serve food or make an awesome display An Amazing Pair Of 19Th C Charger Plates
