This is a Dartington Crystal Flora vase, hand engraved with a Japanese temple & cherry blossom growing from the top & bottom on the vase. It is fully functional as a vase as well as a purely decorative work of art. This vase would be a great treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding or anniversary. The crystal vase can be personalised with names & dates or up to 8 words free of charge, creating a unique & personal keepsake that will last a lifetime. Please note that these pictures are stock pictures & each vase is engraved to order so ever so slight differences will occur. Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve deep into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished & highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving & create light & shadow. All packaging i.e boxes & bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight against global warming!) & therefore I do not offer gift wrapping or gift boxes. After something a little different?
